2014 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Dark, savory and floral, this wine eloquently reflects the fact that Burnside is one of the coolest sites we work with. Aromas of dried flowers, earthy forest floor, toffee, roasted almonds and roses hover above the glass. On the palate, the 2014 Burnside is a study in focus and freshness, with fine-grained tannins and mouthwatering acidity providing an almost architectural structure to the deep, concentrated flavors.

“The 2014 Pinot Noir Burnside Vineyard is from a Russian River site and made from primarily Dijon clone 115, but with a small amount of the newer clone 777. This is a cold site, and the wine offers up notes of Chinese black tea, baking spices and black and red currants followed by a delicious, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel with outstanding depth, purity and overall texture. This is a beauty and should continue to drink well for 7-8 years. It is also a tiny production item of 315 cases. 2016 – 2024” - Robert Parker
