2010 Russian River Valley< Back to all Pinot Noirs
This is a beautiful example of what makes great Russian River Valley Pinot Noir so appealing. From its strawberry, cassis and blueberry aromatics to its fine-grained tannins and its mixture of sweet and savory flavors, this wine is lush and layered, while still being very light on its feet. On the palate, juicy red apple and cranberry notes mingle with hints of resin, cardamom, clove and cinnamon spice, all underscored by supple, fine-grained tannins and subtle French oak.

"Good full medium red. Pure, subdued aromas of blueberry, cassis and cardamom; distinctly darker in its fruit character than most of the preceding pinots. Chewy and broad yet precise, with lovely vinosity and intensity to the flavors of cranberry and spices. Classically dry pinot noir with fine-grained tannins and a light touch. - Stephen Tanzer
